Most lenders still follow the FICO system, and somewhere in the good credit score scale usually between 670 and 739 is considered solid enough to get decent interest rates. Once you hit 740 and above, you move into the “very good” and “excellent” range, which usually unlocks the best loan terms and premium credit cards.
