How does water storage work in Dune Awakening

Arrakis is a place where water equals life. The sand and heat will wear you down fast. If you want to stay longer than a few runs from your crash site, you must build ways to store water and to use it well Dune Awakening Items.

Personal Hydration: Keep Your Literjon Topped Up
Every player needs a Literjon. The Literjon is the small, personal flask that holds drinking water. You must refill your Literjon before you head out. If your Literjon goes empty, your health and stamina will fall fast. You should check the Literjon often and refill it at the base or from any purified source. Carry spare flasks if you expect a long trip. Make refilling quick by putting a refill station near your door so you do not waste time topping up.

Base Storage: Cisterns and the Storage Loop
A single Literjon does not keep a base alive. You need larger tanks called Cisterns. The Cisterns hold most of your base water and feed all other systems. You must bring field water back to the Cisterns so the base can use it. Then the base can run filters and purification units that make water safe for drinking and crafting. Set up clear pipes or transfer points so water moves from collection spots straight into the Cisterns. Protect the Cisterns with walls and turrets. If an enemy breaks your Cisterns, the whole base will suffer.

How Water Is Collected on Arrakis
There are a few main ways to gather water, and each one matters. Wind Traps sit on high ground and pull moisture from the air over time. Put Wind Traps in places with steady airflow so they fill slowly and safely. Some plants hold dew at dawn. You must harvest these plants early before the sun dries them out. You can also process fluids taken from fallen foes and creatures; a purifier will turn that fluid into usable water. Always carry containers or automatic collectors so you can move water back to base fast.

buy Dune Awakening Items — what to bring and store
Bring these items on runs and keep extras in your base: Literjons and spare flasks, portable purification vials, Wind Trap parts, Cistern connectors and pipes, heavy storage drums, a mobile filter unit, battery packs or generator fuel, repair kits for pipes and pumps, a high-capacity backpack, and emergency rations and med supplies. Put the most used items by the entry point so you can grab them and go. Label storage crates so everyone in your group knows where water gear sits.

Make water logistics part of every plan
Water is not only something you drink. Water runs your craft, your workshops, and your filters. Think about routes that let you fill and return without wasting energy. Mark a few safe pickup points, set up more Wind Traps where players travel, and train one person to be the water runner when you go on long trips. Test your system in a small raid so you see where it breaks. Fix the weak spots before you need water in a real emergency.
