Enemy Types

Soul-Bound Shades: Ghostly enemies that phase in and Path of Exile 2 Currency out, immune to damage until they fully materialize.

Spiritbinders: Caster mobs that tether to you, siphoning life unless the tether is broken.

Corrupted Constructs: Large armored husks animated by spectral energy.

Environmental Hazards

Soul Vortex Pools: Standing in them causes stacking degeneration damage.

Phasing Walls: Some walls dissolve only after defeating nearby elite packs.

Mini-Bosses

You’ll face two mini-boss encounters before the final fight:

The Soul Shepherd – summons waves of spectral animals.

Mistress of Chains – immobilizes you with spirit shackles unless you dodge in time.

The Boss of the Well of Souls – Warden of Shattered Spirits

At the heart of the Well of Souls lies its unique boss: the Warden of Shattered Spirits.

Boss Mechanics

Soul Absorption: Periodically siphons lingering souls, healing if not interrupted.

Spectral Chains: Roots the player while summoning waves of shades.

Split Phase: At 50% HP, the Warden splits into Path of Exile 2 Currency Orbs three spectral fragments, each with reduced health but unique abilities.
