In the Expedition section of Path of Exile 2 Currency the Atlas Tree, Detailed Records is a must-have.

Grants +30% increased Quantity of Logbooks from Runic Monsters.
All Logbooks found also come with 3 implicit modifiers, increasing their value.

Fighting Olroth, Origin of the Fall

Olroth is the Expedition pinnacle boss and appears randomly in Level 79+ Logbooks. His icon-a silver skull-will appear on the Expedition map if he is present.

To Fight Olroth:

Use a Level 79+ Logbook.
Unlock Boss Level +1 modifiers in the Atlas to increase the chance of a higher-tier Olroth encounter.

You must defeat him at:

Level 79
Level 80
Level 81
Level 82

Each defeat at these levels grants 2 Expedition Atlas points, for a total of 8 points.

Note: Encountering Olroth in a lower-level Logbook or without proper modifiers will not grant any Atlas points-even if you defeat him.

Tips for Efficient Logbook Farming

Overlap Buffs: Stack Expedition Precursor Tablets in overlapping Towers for multiplicative gains.
Atlas Investment: Max out Expedition passives-especially Detailed Records and Additional Explosives.
Ignore Boss Spawns: Olroth does not drop Logbooks; only regular Runic Monsters do.
Logbook Filtering: Use a custom loot filter to highlight Logbooks with audio/visual cues.
