Magic forms a core part of the gameplay for Dark And Darker Gold classes like Clerics, Sorcerers, and Wizards. If you've chosen one of these classes, understanding how to use your spells is your first step toward becoming a powerful spellcaster.

Before you can wield your spells, you need to equip the Spell Memory Skill, a critical ability that allows you to select and equip spells for use during gameplay. Follow these steps to get started:

    Equip Spell Memory Skill

    Head to the Perks & Skills menu from your class page. Here, you'll find the Spell Memory Skill, which you need to activate before you can equip any spells.

    Assign Spells to Slots

    Once the Spell Memory Skill is active, you'll notice two spell slots on the screen. These correspond to each hand and can hold up to five different spells per slot. Drag and drop your chosen spells from the available list into these slots.

    Casting Spells

    To cast a spell, press the Memory Skill button (commonly set to "Q" or "E" by default) to bring up the spell wheel. This lets you select the specific spell you wish to use. With a spell-casting weapon like a staff or wizard sword equipped, hold the right mouse button to charge your spell and release it to cast.
